Triple offset metal to metal butterfly valve is widely used in more severe applications (such as high temperature, medium with hard particles and shut off, etc.). Triple offset metal to metal butterfly valve can be bi-directional shut off. Its oval sealing area on the disc only contacts the valve seat in the closed position, which greatly eliminates the friction between the disc and the seat, and increases the service life of the disc and the seat. When closing the valve, the oval sealing ring on the disc has uniform compression deformation contacting with the seat, so as to achieve a long-time reliable bi-directional zero leakage.
HDH500B is applied in more severe applications, such as higher temperatures or media with a lot of hard particles. The sealing ring on the disc is a STELLITE hardened sealing ring, it is non-laminated, and the valve seat is a replaceable valve seat. This greatly reduces maintenance costs and greatly enhances the wear resistance and erosion resistance of the valve trim, offering a longer service life under more severe conditions.
